Bhujangasana
This is simple but very effective Asana. It helps to relieve back pain. It enhances lungs capacity and regulates the breath. It works on liver and kidney along with rest abdominal organs. This pose is very helpful to recover from gynecological disorder.
CONTRAINDICATION:people with hyperthyroidism, peptic ulcer, hernia should avoid this pose
Chakrasana (Wheel Pose)
Benefits: This pose is beneficial to the nervous, digestive, respiratory, cardiovascular and glandular systems. It influences all the hormonal secretions and helps to relieve many disorders.
Avoid if you have a weak back, weak wrist condition, heart problem and during pregnancy
Dhanurasana
This pose helps to recondition the alimentary canal. It tones pancreas and adrenal gland. liver and other abdominal organs are massaged along with kidneys. It helps to remove gastrointestinal disorders.
People with weak heart, high b.p, hernia, peptic ulcers should not attempt this pose.
Ekapada pashasana
It gives all the benefits of balancing postures. It activates sciatic nerve and helps to get rids of varicose problem.
It stretches shoulders and hands and helps to expand lungs
Garbhasana
Benefits: It regulates adrenal gland & calms excited mind. helps to get emotional stability & controlling aggressiveness. stimulates the digestive fire & increases appetite. also develops the sense of balance.
This is strenuous pose so people with heart condition, high b.p, prolapse or back pain should avoid it
Konasana
It helps to tone up thighs, knees & ankles. It stretches spine and helps release stress. Enhances the lungs & chest region. Reduces the fat around the waist & hips. It relieves sciatic and arthritic pains
Moordhasana
It balances the nervous system and strengthens the neck muscles. It brings a rich supply of blood to the brain.
It enhances lungs. This pose is very much helpful for low b.p people
Avoid:- in high BP heart condition, weak eye capillaries, slipped disc or cervical problem.
Padmasana (Lotus Pose)
It is one of the best pose for meditation and pranayama, but requires enough flexibility. So beginners may start with half lotus, folding only one leg at top.
LOTUS POSE aligned the spine and makes the seat firm and steady of practitioner. which directs the flow of prana ( life force ) from base of spine towards the crown of the head. It heightens the experience of meditation. Asanana helps build attractive personality, induces peace of mind, helps to regulate the temperature of body and releases the hyperactivity
Salabhasna (locust pose)
It strengthens the lower back & pelvic organs, and helps to relieve back pain. It tones & balances the functioning of liver, stomach, bowels and other abdominal organs. People with coronary thrombosis or high b.p. or peptic ulcer, hernia or such conditions should avoid doing this asna
Sethubandasana
It helps to realign spine, eliminating rounded shoulders and relieving backache. It balances bronchial and thyroid conditions. Helps to improve digestion with stretching abdominal organs.
It tones the female reproductive organs and helps to manage menstrual disorders.
Contraindications : people with peptic or duodenal ulcers shouldn't practice
